Government Cuts and Education

The government is beginning to do major cuts in regards to school systems. In many Philadelphia public school systems, there is no longer a requirement for a child to go to kindergarten. Could you honestly imagine not going to kindergarten? It is sad that the government is taking away opportunities for bright leaders in the future by giving parents the option of putting their child in kindergarten, with the obvious hopes that they won’t. Instead what is happening is that the money is going into building new prison facilities instead of going into getting down to why there is so much crime and stopping it. Education is the key and children love to learn. This should not be taken away from them

Hackers Tear Apart FBI Vehicle Tracker

Hardware teardown site iFixit managed to tear apart an FBI vehicle tracker before FBI agents showed up and took it back. The device consists of a GPS unit and a transponder. It is currently legal in the United States for the FBI and other agencies to use the device to track citizens without a warrant.

The vehicle tracker, discovered by environmental activist Kathy Thomas six years ago, is surprisingly basic. iFixit even said it is “ancient in the realm of modern electronics.” Some of the wiring is sloppy, and the components appear to be hand-soldered.

Its main advantage is its extremely long-lasting battery. iFixit claims that its backup battery gives it a lifespan of twenty years. It also got a “repairability score” of -10. This basically means that if you break it apart, the FBI will find you.

the Mid-South will remain in Danger

The danger will remain in the Mid-South for weeks And Mississippi and Louisiana are bracing for record crests. It takes a long time to make a flood this big on the mississippi, but it takes more time for the water to recede.
Bill Haslam the Tennessee Govenor made his third visit to West Tennessee to check the flood damage, and held a conference in a park above the river. this will be a big time deal for some time, specially, because the bills are growing and they need to keep pushing washington for it.
