Beyoncé’s Got Your Heart Racing?

King B has done it again! She’s released her third fragrance. “Pulse” an energetic, exciting perfume is the new addition to her other popular fragrances Heat and Heat Rush. The unique citrus, floral, gourmand scent is inspired by the singer’s favorite flower – orchid.

Beyoncé’s “versatile” fragrance can be worn all the time for any occasion.

The feminine scent starts with pear blossom, blue curacao accord, and frosted bergamot top notes. The very unique scent’s middle notes introduces Bluebird orchid, being used for the first time in a fragrance, delicate peony, and midnight blooming jasmine. The warm base includes Madagascar vanilla infusion, intoxicating musk, and precious woods.

“The success of Heat was amazing, but why not represent a different side of a woman?”, says Beyoncé.  “Pulse represents the woman I am on stage. When I think about excitement, it makes me think about my heart racing and a pulsating beat—it’s my stage persona. Heat represents my sensual side, it’s very spicy and Southern. Heat Rush is more about the woman I am on my off time, when I’m on vacation.”

Pulse can be found at department stores. The price ranges from $24.00 – 59.00 USD.

Maxine Waters Has Fiery Words for Tea Party

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) did not bite her tongue when referencing the Tea Party at the “Kitchen Table Summit” held on Saturday in Inglewood, CA. California is plagued with a 12 percent unemployment rate which is the second highest in the nation lagging behind Nevada. Waters has openly expressed disdain regarding the plight of African-Americans, a group severely affected by the recession.

“I’m not afraid of anybody,” Waters told the crowd. “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned, the Tea Party can go straight to hell.”

Waters is irritated that President Obama bypassed the African-American community during his bus tour through the Midwest.

“We don’t know why on this trip that he’s in the United States now, he’s not in any black community,” she said at a jobs forum in Detroit. “We want to give him every opportunity, but our people are hurting. The unemployment is unconscionable. We don’t know what the strategy is,” she continued. “We’re supportive of the president, but we getting tired, y’all, getting tired.”

Listen to the audio of Waters blasting the Tea Party below. Last week Rep. Allen West (R-FL) chastised the Democratic Party, especially Waters, for suppressing African-Americans. West’s comments were not well-received by Maxine Waters and likely contributed to her  sound off at the conference on Saturday.
