On Friday October 21, 2011, on a flight from Chicago to New York, Shandiz thought it would be the perfect place to pop the big question, according to CNN.

Shandiz took over the flight intercom and proceeded to tell the passengers of the woman he fell in love with and asked Williams to marry him, according to CNN.

Williams said yes and the air line treated the passengers to champagne in honor of the couple’s special moment, according to WGN and CNN.

“It was magical to say the least and it’s been a fairy tale from the moment we met. I can’t say how elated and lucky I feel,” Williams said according to CNN.

Early Tuesday morning, Lindsay Lohan’s father was arrested after being accused of battering his girlfriend. Tampabay.com reports that police said Lohan had punched his on-and-off girlfriend, Kate Major, smashed her cell phone, grabbed her by the arm and threatened to throw her from a fourth-floor balcony after an argument about dropping a restraining order Major had filed against Lohan. Lohan also complained of chest pains after his arrest and was taken to the hospital for checkups and testing then checked himself out, only to be handcuffed again once he got outside.

This isn’t Lohan’s first arrest for domestic violence. In March, Lohan was reported for throwing Major around and attempting to choke her. Lohan had injured himself trying to keep her from calling the police.

A court hearing was scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, where Lohan proceeded to explain the incident to the police, saying that he was angry but didn’t lay hands on Major. Major only had minor bruising from the incident.

Occupy Hollywood: Calling-Out Celebrities

Jo Piazza of the Huffington Post wrote an article on her insight on the idea of “Occupy Hollywood” and calling-out celebrities for their high earnings. Pitching ideas to help urging celebrities to be the solution, such as fans tweeting to them directly, and to not to conform to their consumer products that they successfully sell because their name is on it to help balance between wealth.  A celebrity’s wealth is so high that some are considered lower, and can’t even be calculated farther beyond, the .01%.  This beats out the 1% of the jobs that people regularly associate as wealthy, like the doctors, lawyers, CEOs, etc.

Piazza uses celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt to explain that celebrities have the means to become the solution in the Occupy Protests. By balancing the wealth with celebrities and yourself, Piazza believes that it is a step in the right direction to fix the financial issues of the nation.
