Michele Bachmann Plans to “Handle” Children of Illegal Immigrants

Minnesota Rep, Michele Bachmann took part in a sensitive exchange regarding illegal immigrants with a democratic college student Saturday.

Roy Aguillon, 19, asked Bachmann how she planned to handle or what she would “do to” the children of illegal immigrants.

News reports stated that Bachmann said she would “not do anything to them.” She went on describing why we should not reward the children of illegal immigrants citizenship in our country.

“Their parents are the ones who brought them here,” she said. “We do not owe them anything.” Bachmann stated that these “people broke our laws to come into this country,” unlike her own family who came to the United States more than 150 years ago. She stated that her parents came into the country legally and “received zero benefits.”

In an interview with NBC News,  Aguillon said his intention was not to draw attention to the DREAM Act, legislation which provides benefits as well as citizenship to children of immigrants, but merely to ask a practical question for children of illegal parents.

Herman Cain is currently facing allegations of sexual harassment.

Cain’s campaign is denying that the GOP presidential hopeful was involved in a sexual harassment case.  They are claiming the source of the case is anonymous and that there is no concrete evidence to prove it.

A Politico report was put up stating that Cain was accused of sexually harassing two women while he was the head of the National Restaurant Association from 1996 to 1999.  It also states that the two women were paid off by Cain.

Richard Muller, a prominent physicist, has overcome his skepticism on global warming after two years of research.

Muller came to the conclusion that temperatures are changing, having risen 1.6 degrees Fahrenheit since the 1950s.  He even went further back than the 1950s for his research, looking into readings by Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson.

He began his research, which was partially paid by a global warming deniers foundation, after the British “Climategate” scandal, which involved the hacking of emails from scientists.

Muller presented his findings at a conference on Monday, Oct. 31.
