Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos was rescued in Venezuela after having been held captive for two days.

Ramos, 24, was seized at gunpoint outside his home on Wednesday, Nov.9.  His kidnappers carefully planned his abduction and told him they wanted a large ransom.

Authorities arrested four of his captors, all Venezuelan men in their 20s, after they raided their mountain hideout.  The other four captors, all Colombian men, escaped.  A 60-year-old woman and 74-year-old man were also arrested for being accomplices.
