The Buckingham

The legendary singer who is known for the memorable hit ‘At Last” has been hospitalized since Wednesday. The legend is battling an incurable form of leukemia, dementia, and Hepatitis C. James, 73, was placed on a breathing apparatus  Wednesday and is now under sedation. The family is praying she can survive what appears to be the final stages of leukemia. They are prepared to hold a Christmas celebration in the singer’s hospital room if she is taken off sedation.

James will remain in the hospital, which is located in Riverside, California, until doctors determine she is healthy enough to return home.
