Police arrested Padge Victoria Windslowe, 42, also known as her stage name Black Madam. The musician was taken into police custody just before her “pumping party” began. At these parties, people pay for illegal silicone injections. Windslowe was sitting at the dining room table at the time of her arrest with unknown substances, cotton balls, syringes and instant glue according to the police.
“The good thing about this evening, we were able to confiscate the items she was going to use for the injection tonight,” Lt. John Walker said.
Police say she has been charged with aggravated assault and deceptive business practices after injecting illegal silicone into the buttocks of a 23-year-old woman in February.
According to the police, the woman who accused Windslowe was in intensive care with possible silicone in her lung. She paid Windslowe a $1,000 to have the procedure performed. She was injected in the same house the alleged “pumping parties” take place.
Windslowe may also be connected to a previous homicide case. Claudia Aderotimi, 20, paid $1,800 for buttocks enhancements in a hotel room. Though the cause of death is still unknown, police believe Windslowe was responsible in death, injecting Aderotimi with a substance that was presumed to be silicone.
Windslowe is not being charged with the death because it is still under investigation. However, since she is in custody, police are planning to question her about the case.
Windslowe is scheduled to appear in court on March 13.
