Beyonce will grace the front cover of People magazine as the world’s most beautiful woman of the year.

The new mother, who gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy earlier this year, told the magazine that being a mother has made her feel beautiful in a new way.  “I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth. I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth,” Beyonce said.

Some online forums are speculating that the honor is a PR stunt because of the public’s interest in her pregnancy and daughter. Although, most people agree that Beyonce deserves the title.
