NYC Parking Space Priced at $1 Million

A 23-foot-by-12-foot lot on East 11th Street, New York City, has recently been named the most expensive parking space in “the city that never sleeps.”

Priced at $1 million, the parking space is worth more than “New York’s $115 illegal parking ticket paid everyday for 23 years.” Prudential Douglas Elliman vice chairman Dolly Lenz, however, believes that the privacy it provides offsets the high price.

The space will be offered to a resident of the adjacent eight-story loft that will be turned into six luxury condominiums, although the purchase involves a separate sales contract and deed.

Terricka Cason Cromartie, wife of New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie, has recently made headlines for lying about a suicide attempt.

Cromartie received a text from his seven-month pregnant wife, who wrote that she “cut her wrists”, “took those pills”, but “did not want to die.” Cromartie, who was in Miami at the time, called police and informed them of the situation.

Police arrived at their residence only to find Terricka in bed with her kids. When she was questioned about the suicide attempt, she said she “had no intention of going through with the act and that she was exercising her First Amendment right to free speech.”

Terricka was soon referred to a local hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
