DreamWorks Animation’s Ice Age: Continental Drift topped the box office for the weekend of July 13-15.

The fourth entry in the Ice Age franchise made $46 million at the box office.  While the numbers are on par with the original Ice Age, it fails in comparison to the second in the series.

In second place is The Amazing Spider-Man with $35 million.  The reboot of the Spider-Man series made $62 million the previous weekend, and already has made $204 million at the box office since it’s July 3 release.

Coming in third was Ted with $22 million.  Many are still shocked how popular the film has been and it is expected to be one of Universal’s biggest films of the year.  So far, the movie has made $159 million.

In fourth is Pixar’s Brave with $11 million, and rounding out the top five was Oliver Stone’s Savages at $9.3 million.
