Donald A. Perry, the vice president of corporate public relations for Chick-fil-A, has died.

Perry died of a heart attack on the morning of July 27.

In a statement to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Chick-fil-A said, “Don was a member of our Chick-fil-A family for nearly 29 years.  For many of you in the media, he was the spokesperson for Chick-fil-A.  He was a well-respected and well-liked media executive in the Atlanta and University of Georgia communities, and we will all miss him.”

Perry began working at Chick-fil-A in 1983 and was “responsible for external communications and publicity programs in support of key company initatives.”

In the last week, Perry had been busy over the company’s president, Dan Cathy, remarks about gay marriage.  In response to the statement, Perry wrote his own, which stated “going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.”

Katherine Jackson Temporarily Loses Custody of Michael Jackson’s Kids

Katherine Jackson has temporarily lost custody of Michael Jackson’s three kids.

Paris, 14, Prince Michael, 15, and Blanket, 11, are currently under the temporary guardianship of TJ Jackson, son of Tito.

This new ordeal just adds to the latest Jackson family drama.  The late singer’s siblings Janet, Randy, Jermaine and Rebbie are all against TJ and the three kids because they claim that Katherine Jackson was kidnapped more than a week ago.

Paris caused a stir a week ago on Twitter after she announced her grandmother was missing.  Michael Jackson’s kids had not heard from Katherine in over a week.

TJ was given temporary custody of the children after an emergency hearing on July 25.  He relayed to the judge that he received a “strange” call from Katherine on the night of July 24.  He spoke of how her words were slightly slurred.

Katherine claims that she is fine and wasn’t kidnapped, but rather she was taken to an isolated Arizona spa by her children to relax.

In the end, once Katherine comes back, TJ, 34, will step aside and give custody back to his grandmother.
