Joey Kovar, who starred on The Real World: Hollywood, has died.

Kovar was discovered by his friend in the early hours of Aug. 17.  The reality star, who also appeared on Celebrity Rehab, was reportedly bleeding from his nose and ears.

By the time authorities arrived at the scene, Kovar had died.  He was 29.

Kovar had struggled publicly with a drug addiction, having gone to rehab while still on the Real World, and then heading to Celebrity Rehab for an addiction to cocaine and ecstasy.

MTV released a quick statement about the situation, “MTV is deeply saddened to learn that Joey Kovar of The Real World: Hollywood has passed away. We offer our sympathies to Joey’s loved ones, friends and fans.”
