Rosie O’Donnell Marries

Rosie O’Donnell and her fiancee have announced they married in June.
O’Donnell, 50, and her fiancee Michelle Rounds exchanged vows on June 9 in a private ceremony in New York. The couple had announced their engagement in Dec. 2011 and were originally planning to marry in August.
The change in plans came after Rounds was diagnosed with desmoid tumors, a rare disease that only affects three in a million people. Rounds’ first surgery occurred on June 14.
O’Donnell herself had recently suffered a heart attack.
The couple will have a wedding ceremony in the future, and are planning to raise awareness for desmoid tumors by participating in the DTRF Running for Answers 5K on Oct. 21 in Philadelphia.
