Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa have welcomed a baby boy.

Camden John Lachey was born on Sept. 12 at 6:54 p.m.  He weighed 8 lbs., 9 oz. and was 21 inches long.

The couple, who married in July 2011, announced their pregnancy in March, and in July, Vanessa, 31, had revealed that they were expecting a boy.

In August, Lachey, 38, told PEOPLE magazine, how excited he was for the birth of their son.

“For someone who has wanted a family for such a long time, I’ve looked forward to this moment.  Now that it’s almost here, it’s awesome,” Lachey said.
