Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and Evelyn Lozado are officially divorced.

Lozado’s lawyer, Michael Gilden, confirmed the news to PEOPLE.  “Evelyn and Mr. Johnson were divorced this morning in an uncontested final hearing.  My client is a single woman and looks forward to her future,” he stated.

Lozado, 36, filed for divorce one month after being married, following a domestic dispute.  On Sept. 19, the judge made the divorce official and also upheld a private pre-nup agreement.

Johnson, 34, had been arrested on Aug. 11 for misdemeanor domestic violence charges.  He allegedly had head-butted Lozado during an argument.
