Swedish Princess Madeleine Therese Amelie Josephine has announced her engagement to American Christopher O’Neill.
The princess has described O’Neill, a New York financier, as her “soulmate” and that he helped open her heart. This could be a reflection of her previous engagement, which was called off in 2010 amid reports of infidelity by her then fiancé.
Madeleine, 30, is the youngest child of Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. She is fourth in line for the Scandinavian country’s throne.
The princess and her fiancé, who has dual British-American citizenship, met through mutual friends and currently live in New York.
O’Neill, 38, proposed earlier in the month of October 2012 and took the traditional route, by asking the king for his daughter’s hand in marriage.
The wedding will take place in summer 2013, but no date has yet been announced.
A mother has recently been arrested for killing her two children.
Chelsea Thornton, 23, supposedly shot her 3-year-old son and then drowned her 4-year-old daughter. She then took a bus to the hospital to complain of stomach pains and a headache.
The children’s bodies were found in the bathtub of their New Orleans home on the evening of Oct. 17.
Thornton admitted to officers that she killed her young children and she now faces first degree murder charges.
The father of the children, who had an off-and-on relationship with Thornton, expressed his desires to have helped his kids.
A U.S. Navy sailor has been found dead in a train station in Japan.
Petty Officer 2nd Class Samuel Lewis Stiles was discovered on Oct. 28 on the platform in Haiki Station in Nagasaki Prefecture. The sailor was found surrounded by seven or eight alcoholic drink cans and supposedly suffered a head injury.
Stiles death, which is currently being investigated, comes at a delicate time for the U.S. military in Japan, as two U.S. sailors were recently arrested on accusations of rape.
This particular case angered Japanese officials and led the U.S. military to imposing a curfew on their troops in Japan. The curfew restricts military personnel to bases, personal homes or hotels between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The time that Stiles’ was found, around 5 a.m., suggests that he may have been breaking curfew.

All-Star game MVP Melky Crabera was suspended 50 games for a positive testosterone test, and not welcomed back when the ban ended. Two-time Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum struggled and wound up in the bullpen. Even with all this the giants still find a way to dominate the series.
Pablo Sandoval, was Named The MVP of the world series. He went from getting little playing time 2 years ago to being a difference in the world series this year.Pablo could not hold back the tears as the giants won last night. As he ties the World Series record for most Home-Runs in a single series.
The Thunder who where looking to return to the NBA championship. After there disappointing loss in last years finals to the Miami Heat. Will have to do so with out sixth-man of the year James Harden
The Thunder who where looking to sign Harden for a long term extension.Could not come to a agreement with Harden,They offered Harden 55.5 million over years.4.5 million less then what the rockets will offer him.he Thunder acquired guards Kevin Martin and Jeremy Lamb , two first-round picks and a second-round pick in the surprising Deal that was completed Saturday night. Oklahoma City also sent center Cole Aldrich and forwards Daequon cook and Lazar Hayward to Houston. Harden averaged 16.8 points and 3.7 assists last season, and joined Durant and Westbrook on the U.S. men’s Olympic team.
Harden who clearly stated in multiple interviews that its not all about the money.certainly looked that way,He basically chose a team that offered 5.5 million more who has a very very unlikely chance of even making to to the playoffs over a team that was the team to beat in the Western conference.
