Seth MacFarlane to Host the Oscars

Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has been tapped to host the 85th Academy Awards.
The award ceremony will be held on Sunday, Feb. 24, on ABC. This will be the first time that MacFarlane, 38, who is also the co-creator of American Dad! and The Cleveland Show, will host an award ceremony.
But, this isn’t the first time the voice actor has performed life. In September, MacFarlane hosted the premiere episode for Saturday Night Live’s 38th season, and he’s entertained sold-out audiences at both London’s Royal Albert Hall and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
