A grenade attack on a church in Nairobi has left one child dead and three others seriously hurt.

Attackers targeted St Polycarb’s church on Juja Road in the Kenya capital of Nairobi.  A group of children were attending Sunday school when this happened.

Police believe that sympathizers of Somalia’s al-Shabab Islamist militant group are to blame.

Later, a mob living near the church planned a suspected revenge attack.  In this attack, which was rounded on Somalis living near the church, injured 13.
