British singer Adele has been tasked with singing the new James Bond title song.

Her track is for the upcoming Bond movie Skyfall, which opens in theatres on Nov. 9 in the U.S. and Oct. 26 in the U.K.

Some people are comparing Adele’s singing on the new Bond song to that of Dame Shirley Bassey, who had recorded the Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever themes.
