Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been sentenced to 30 to 60 years for child sex abuse.
Sandusky had been convicted in June of 45 counts of child sex abuse, specifically sexually abusing 10 boys over a 15-year period. He had been facing a maximum of 400 years in prison.
Four of Sandusky’s victims had been in court with their families during the hearing. In front of these four victims, Sandusky spoke for 13 minutes, arguing that he did not do what he was being charged for.
“I did not do these disgusting acts,” Sandusky said.
The 68-year-old’s attorney only have 10 days to appeal the decision, and have already vowed to appeal.
