After five years of dating, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have finally tied the knot.

“It’s great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends,” the couple told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement on Oct. 19.

Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, had kept very quiet about their wedding.  They had even been very vague about the location to their guests.  The couple ended up marrying in southern Italy.

The actor-musician had proposed to his new bride in December, in Big Sky, Montana, with a custom-designed ring.
