LinkedIn, the professional’s social network, is introduced
a new profile design to its users on Tuesday. The site is hoping the changes will make it easier to use and easier to navigate within the site.
The profile now shows the most recent activity first, including status updates, liking a status, and connecting with other users. LinkedIn created felt the need for these changes so users could get the best experience by using their profiles often. During the press conference they used searching for people specializing in blogging as an example. The search led to people who did just that, specialized in blogging. Along with finding new friend connections shared interests will be provided when on the other user’s profile.
Another big difference includes editing your profile, instead of having to click off to another page users can now update their profile on the current page.
All of these changes will be made to LinkedIn within the next few months.
