Having a dream and achieving it is ageless and Jazmin Brown is no exception to this concept. Just 14 years old, Brown is a model and fashion designer. She has set the stage for the next generation of fashion design and has become a role model for girls her age around the world.
Brown is an “A” student from New Jersey who came into the public eye after winning and getting runner up in numerous modeling competitions. She made her first appearance in 2005 after winning a scholarship pageant. A year later she won her first runway competition sponsored by Images Production Team. In 2008 she competed and won high titles in three modeling competitions and ran the runway on numerous occasions.
Brown describes her biggest accomplishment as launching her clothing line and, “having the honor of showing [it] on News12 with Della Crews, at New Jersey Fashion Week, and at a red carpet charity event with Miss Teen America.” Her clothing line “Deztani” was presented to the world in April 2011. Since then she has started a non-profit organization called “Jazmin’s Deztani” that is designed to help children that don’t have financial support of their families, achieve any positive goals.
Despite having accomplished “adult” achievements, Jazmin is still a normal teenage girl. She actively participates in sports such as basketball and volleyball, attends classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and watches television on popular children networks.
Since no one is too young to dream, Jazmin said in an interview with Jersey Fashionista, “[her] ultimate goal is to show [her] line all over the world. Also, one day [she] would love to open up [her] own chain of boutiques. [Her] goal is to open up one by the time [she is] 16 years old.”
