James Harden Traded To Rockets in a Blockbuster Deal

The Thunder who where looking to return to the NBA championship.After there disappointing loss in last years finals to the Miami Heat. Will have to do so with out sixth-man of the year James Harden

 

The Thunder who where looking to sign Harden for a long term extension.Could not come to a agreement with Harden,They offered Harden 55.5 million over years.4.5 million less then what the rockets will offer him.he Thunder acquired guards Kevin Martin and Jeremy Lamb , two first-round picks and a second-round pick in the surprising Deal  that was completed Saturday night. Oklahoma City also sent center Cole Aldrich and forwards Daequon cook and Lazar Hayward  to Houston. Harden averaged 16.8 points and 3.7 assists last season, and joined Durant and Westbrook on the U.S. men’s Olympic team.

 

Harden who clearly stated in multiple interviews that its not all about the money.certainly looked that way,He basically chose a team that offered 5.5 million more  who has a very very unlikely chance of even making to to the playoffs over a team that was the team to beat in the Western conference.
