Lawsuit Against Britney Spears and Family Dismissed

A Los Angeles judge has thrown out the Sam Lufti-Spears family lawsuit.

On Nov. 1, Superior Court judge Suzanne Bruguera had dismissed the lawsuit after attorneys for Britney Spears and her family argued that he hadn’t proven his case after six days.

Lufti, 38, a onetime confidante of the singer, had sued the Spears family for several different reasons.  Britney was being sued for unpaid fees, Jamie Spears, her dad, for allegedly punching him, and her mom Lynne Spears for defaming him in her 2008 book.

Due to the dismissal of the lawsuit, Lufti has stated that he plans to appeal.
