Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, the 19-year-old daughter of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, has been arrested on drug possession charges.
Bongiovi, a student at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., had officers and a volunteer ambulance squad called to her dorm, around 1:51 a.m. on Nov. 14, to assist her because she had possibly overdosed on heroin and was not responsive.
When police arrived, they found a small amount of heroin and proceeded to arrest fellow student Ian S. Grant, 21. A later search of the dorm also revealed additional heroine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Bongiovi, who is one of the rocker’s four children with wife Dorothea Hurly, was then also arrested for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. She was released and then ordered to return to court. All of the charges are misdemeanors.
