Hope Solo and Jerramy Stevens Marry Despite Assault Allegations

Just one day after former Seattle Seahawks player Jerramy Stevens was arrested for assaulting his fiancee, U.S. women’s soccer team goalkeeper Hope Solo, the couple were married.

Sportsradio 950 AM and 102.9 FM radio host Dave Mahler tweeted on Nov. 13 the news.  “Confirmed, Jerramy Stevens and Hope Solo were married tonight.  Events of yesterday morning didn’t change plans,” the tweet said.

The couple, who had only been dating for two months, had applied for a marriage license on Nov. 8.

Stevens, 33, had been arrested around 3:45 am of Nov. 12 over a physical altercation at a party over whether the couple should marry in Florida or Washington State.  He was charged with fourth-degree domestic violence.

Three Teenagers At Same High School Commit Suicide

Three teenagers at a high school in Missouri have committed suicide in the last two months.

St. Clair High School is reeling over the deaths, which are all apparently unrelated.  The three teenagers were all in different social circles and not even friends.

The latest took place on the night of Nov. 12, when a 16-year-old girl took her own life.  A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were the other three victims.

An emergency forum was held on Nov. 18 to discuss the suicides and hundreds of residents in the small town of 4,400 showed up.  At the forum, parents complained about bullying at the high school, but so far very few details have been released.

The first suicide had occurred on Sept. 28.

Elizabeth Banks Welcomes Son

Elizabeth Banks has welcomed another son.

The actress, 38, and her husband Max Handelman, just welcomes their second son via gestational surrogate.  Their son’s name is Magnus Mitchell Handelman, and he joins older brother Felix, 20 months.

“As 2012 winds down and Thanksgiving approaches, I have much for which to be thankful – personal, professional, and Presidential.  However, nothing can match the joy and excitement my husband and I felt when we recently welcomed our second baby boy,” Banks wrote on her website.

The actress, in the past, has been very open about her fertility struggle.

“It was a womb issue for me.  Embryos wouldn’t implant,” she had explained earlier in the year.
