If college football wasn’t hectic already.Last week we witnessed #1 Alabama lose at home to Texas A&M in a thrilling performance  by Johnny Manziel  only a freshman putting crazy statistics against the #1 defense in the country.Last night i saw another freshman quarterback take down the #1 ranked Oregon at their stadium on there senior night.Kevin Hogan who didn’t win the starting job for quarterback in the beginning of the year for Stanford definitely didnt play like a fresman he was not rattled or shook by the home crowd of Oregon. He threw for 211 yards 1 touchdown and 1 interception The Cardinal pitched a first-quarter shutout of Oregon’s record breaking offense. You know how many times that’s happened this season to the Oregon? Exactly never.

Stanford held the ducks to only 7 first half points which is amazing Oregon averages over 21 points in first half in every game. It was the second straight game that the Ducks did not gain 200 yards after averaging 341.2 rushing yards per game in their first nine games. But lets give Stanford some credit they played exactly how the should of the slowed down the game they held the ball for most of the game they held Kenjon Barner to only 66 yards rushing. It was Stanford game to lose,They went to  Overtime Oregon missed the field goal that would of put them ahead. All Stanford had to do was hold the ball and kick a field goal of their own.Stanford kicker Jordan Williamson who missed the field goal last year to win the Fiesta Bowl.Williamson, who has struggled this season since his Fiesta Bowl flop, booted a 37-yard field goal in overtime that provided the win

#1 Oregon lost so all Kansas St had to do was win, easier said then done. This was game was really lopsided.I Watched the Colin Klein play last night he sure didn’t look like the Heisman front runner like everybody was making him out to be.This game was over before it started at the blink of eye it was 28-7.Baylor did not stop there the poured on 54 points on Kansas State. The Wildcats didn’t not come to play at all,Klein threw 3 interceptions and got sacked twice. The Wildcats now look to be out of Championship contention.Baylor’s Quarterback  Nick Florence completed 20-of-32 passes for 238 yards, and ran nine times for 47 yards. after the game reporters asked coach Snyder what happened? And this is the response he gave them.

“I don’t know if I would call it getting smacked in the mouth, but they took it to us,” coach Bill Snyder said. “I really thought we prepared well, but as we found out, we didn’t. I don’t think we handled the situation as well as we should have been able to.”
