Two kidnapped Florida boys have been found and reunited with their mother.
Brothers Daren Bonilla, 5, and Rey Bonilla, 3, were snatched from their North Miami home on the night of Feb. 4 while their mother ran an errand. They were found just a day later with a 23-year-old woman, identified only as “Gloria.”
The children were reported kidnapped that Monday evening, after their mother had left them with a babysitter while she ran errands. Gloria apparently appeared at the family home and told the babysitter she had to take the children somewhere. She put the children in her car and drove off.
Gloria was found with the two children in her car on Feb. 5, and all three were taken to a North Miami police station where the children were reunited with their mother.
The woman is an acquaintance of the children’s mother and has not been charged with a crime. She also is no longer in custody, but police reserve the right to arrest her at a later date.
