Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen have broken up.

McAdams, 34, and Sheen, 45, had dated for 2 years and had met on the set of Woody Allen’s 2010 film Midnight in Paris.

The couple publicly acknowledged their relationship, after being spotted several times together in fall of 2010.

British actor Sheen had previously been in a long-term relationship with Kate Beckensale, with whom he has a 14-year-old daughter with.  McAdams had been previously involved with Ryan Gosling.
