Queen Elizabeth has been admitted to a London hospital on March 3 for gastroenteritis.

She’s currently at King Edward VII hospital, the same place Kate Middleton had been admitted to for morning sickness, as a precautionary measure after she fell ill Friday night.

“She was not taken into the hospital immediately after feeling the symptoms,” the spokesman said. “This is simply to enable doctors to better assess her.”

The Queen, 86, is expected to remain at the hospital for the next two days.  All of her engagements for the week, including a trip to Rome, have been postponed.
