After calling the local police office for roadside assistance, a fugitive has landed himself back behind bars.
On Feb. 14, the Wyoming Highway Patrol said that Richard Vincent of Prineville, Ore., called the police after he ran out of gas in Wyoming.
The 59-year-old fugitive was wanted in Georgia for violating his parole on a murder and escape conviction.
The Unita County Sheriff’s Office sent state troopers to help Vincent out and when they learned he had an outstanding felony warrant from Atlanta, he was arrested. He currently is being held for Georgia authorities.
